How to do a partial search in customer/ vehicle enquiry?
Answer
Throughout the system you may wish to do a partial search, for instance just search on the last 5 digits of the VIN rather than the full VIN number. Or a partial phone number search excluding the region code.
To do this simply use an asterix/star before the last 5 digits, see example below.
The asterix can be used at the start, end or middle of what you are searching for and will work on the vast majority of search fields throughout the system.
