The Goods Issue Not Received will show parts that have been issued into negative stock. The average cost value before and after the issue can be viewed. The average cost is the value used as the cost of sale posting when the parts or workshop invoice is raised and will increase if parts are sold into negative stock.
The part record will only appear on this report when the part has been receipted into stock, causing accounts implications. This should be run at every month end as part of the month end process and passed to the accountant for a journal to be done to the stock and cost of sale nominal accounts, otherwise the parts reconciliation will not agree.
When this report is printed a pop-up will ask if the details are to be removed after printing. Only do this once the hard copy has been given to accounts.
