The parameter screens hold the information that will be used to configure the system.

Number Of Months To Retain NSI Parts - This field is not currently in use
Issue Surcharges To Workshop - When this is ticked once a surcharge part is entered then the exchange part is automatically issued along with this.
Record Internal Transfer Issues - If this is selected then internal sales of a part will be recorded in the demand.
Returns Write-Offs - This field is not currently in use.
Allow Issues Less Than Cost Price - If this is ticked then it means that parts can be issued at a value less than their cost price.
Disable Average Cost Prompt - This parameter if turned on means that when a part is issued at a value less than the average cost there will not be a warning the user of this.
Show Vehicle Detail - If this is ticked then a customers vehicle information will appear on the parts invoice
Prevent Negative Stock - If this parameter is ticked then it means no parts can go below a stock holding of 0. This means that you cannot invoice, issue or adjust below the available stock of a part.
Allow Credit With No Document - This parameter if turned on means that users can use the No Document function within the credit screen. This means that they won't have to input an original invoice number but instead free type parts into the credit screen and manually create a credit.
Allow Enquiry File Imports - If this is ticked then it means that in the invoicing screen you can upload a file for large enquiries.
Distribution - If this is ticked then it means that the distribution process is enabled but will require further set up - please refer to the guide.
Hub and Spoke - If this is ticked then it means that the Hub and Spoke process will be enabled. This will require further set up within Parts > Parameters > Hub And Spoke.
This is only available if distribution is turned on.
Auto Internal Parts Processing - If this is enabled when internal transfers are done across the division then it means that the GRNI entry is automatically cleared and invoice is marked for payment without manual intervention.
Display Missing Customer Recommended Fields - If this is turned on then it means when a customer is selected and they have a field missing that has been flagged as recommended in CRM parameters then a pop up will appear asking the user to capture that information.
Hub And Spoke Excess Stock Pilot - This parameter is not currently in use
Default Cash Account To Use/Use On Enquiry - Here you can enter the default cash account for the department. If you tick the use on enquiry flag it means that it will automatically populate the parts invoice screen. If you choose not to do this then it will only populate when a customer without an attached account is entered.
Warranty Difference Nominal - This is not currently in use
Write-off Nominal Code - This is not currently in use
Exchange Part Suffix - Here you can enter the suffix that will be used when surcharge parts are created. If you have franchise specific surcharges then you can do this in the later screen for each franchise.
Exchange Part Product Group - Here you can map the product group that will be used for Surcharge parts
Imprest Stock Parts Department - Here you can map the parts department that you have set up for imprest stock
Competitive Parts Category - This is a mandatory requirements for Ford and VW sites - it will show what parts are in the competitive price file and dealers will need to ensure they have them in stock to earn bonus.
Special Pricing - This tick box will enable special pricing but further set up will need to be done in the special pricing parameter screen
Status on Invoice - if this is ticked then the order status of all parts on enquiry will show on the invoice. This includes those on order or previously supplied
Parts Franchise - Here you can select from a list of franchises what will be used in your parts department. If you select 'on invoice' it will also group parts by franchise for that particular one on an invoice
Fast Fit Product Group - Here you can flag the product groups from which the fast fit department in the workshop module will be able to issue
Display Available Credit - If this is ticked then when an account is selected on enquiry it will give a pop up with available credit.
Default Printer - If this is selected then when you print from parts it will not give you a selection of all printers on your network but will instead send the print straight to the printer selected as the default on your machine
Tyre Product Group(s) -Parts that are in the product groups mapped here will have the ratings showing on invoice
Technician Product Groups - Product groups I enter here will be available to technicians using TECH+ where they can issue parts to operations directly through the app.
Messages - Here you can free type messages that will appear on your parts estimates and invoices such as how long an estimate is valid for or returns policy.
