Overview

Some sites have large numbers of created parts that are no longer stocked at the
dealership. This leads to it being time consuming when performing a stock take.

A parameter within the Stock Take Parameters can exclude a BIN Location.

Summary

Within Parts > Parameters > Stock Take you will find the below screen.

Non-stock Bin location -  Specifies the bin location to be excluded from the parts stock take.
Any parts in that bin location will then be subjected to an additional routine to confirm if they
will then be excluded in the final stock take report. It is worth noting that if there is no last
receipt or issue date the part will be excluded if it is in this bin location.

Non-movement period -  Specifies the number of months without a movement for a part to be
excluded. This can be set to 0 that will exclude all parts that had had no movement except for
the current date.
So if a part has no stock holding, has a bin location equal to the non-stock bin location and
has no movement (invoice, issue, receipt, return etc.) for the number of months set, then it will
not be included on the stock take print.
