How do I Create an SMS Mailshot?

Firstly, create a Selection report which includes the specification for customers to have a mobile number. To do this enter in the Search Criteria mobile number " does not equal to: BLANK" to return customers with a mobile number entered against their record.
Now go to CRM > Processing > Letters, click on the Mailshots tab.
Then, click on the selection you have created to send the SMS to and click the SMS mailshot button which will bring up a pop-up, as below.
In this pop-up, enter the message you would like to send, you will note the name of the selections report selected to be used as the header of the mailshot, with a mandatory send date and send time needing to be entered.
When you then go to SMS Mailshots Pending tab you will see all sent SMS mailshots and pending SMS mailshots.
You can then choose to delete specific entries, delete sent entries or delete all.
