The distribution module has been developed to enable larger parts departments to effectively manage and control of their stock. It enables the use of Vans runs to trade and internal customers. It also gives users detailed reports on sales analysis of each van run and measures how effective parts employees are at correctly picking the right parts.

The reporting suite also gives detailed analysis on peak times for when parts are being ordered allowing more effective management and control of orders.

Set up Required

**Please Note: Before distribution can be activated it is important for the site to clear down and process any outstanding customer orders from the customer order screen.**

Once this has been done, distribution can be turned on. This is done in Parts > Parameters > Department Details > Department Details 2, enable by selecting the box for Distribution.

This screen is where sales ledger accounts are linked to either van routes or runs.

Using the account search icon a sales ledger account can be found.

Once the account has been found, select either the Assign to route or Assign to run buttons to assign the account.

If an account is assigned to a run rather than a route, deliveries can only be made to that customer on the run chosen.

An account can be associated to a different route or run by selecting the β€˜Change Van’ option within the Picking List Amendment screen.

An account can be deleted from a route or run by single clicking the account and selecting the ’Delete’ option.

The β€˜Export’ button allows all Accounts, including route and run times, to be exported into a CSV file.

The β€˜Print’ button allows all Accounts associated to routes and runs to be printed.
