How do I create a Selections Report for all Vehicles that have a MOT Expiry Date within a certain date range?

Answer

You can create a Selection to show all Vehicles that have have a MOT Expiry Date within a certain date range by going to CRM > Selections > Search.

The 'Choose Fields To Search' box is where you select all of the criteria that you would like your Report to search for. Single click into this box and select the 'Vehicle Contact Dates' expanding list. From this list, double click on the field 'MOT Expiry Date'. This will pull this field to the right hand side box, single click on this and select 'Between' from the top drop down. Then, you will be able to specify the date range that you need, in the first box select the date from and in the second box select the date to.

In the Company Structure box, you can select the level that you would like this Report to be ran at.

Then, click 'Accept'

In the 'Choose Fields To Display' box, you can select the fields that you would like to show on the Report. Single click into the box and it will show all of the Expanding Lists, you can select any of these options to show on the Selection Report. The order which you chose these options in are the order that they will display in on the report. You can select as many of these options as you would like.

After you have chose your Fields To Display, click 'Accept'.

Then, click 'Search' and your report will have been created.

At the bottom, you have the options to 'Print' the report or 'Save' the report - by saving the report you will be able to open this report in the future, and download it into an Excel file.
