Within Parts > Reporting > Valuation > Exchange Part, the exchange part report provides a valuation based upon the stock holding of the exchange parts minus the stock holding of the main part.
The report looks at the Department Details 2 page in parameters for the surcharge product
groups.
Any parts in red on the report indicate that there are more parts than surcharges in stock.
Selecting ‘Export’ creates a file in excel which can then be imported into the returns to
supplier screen.
The show differences can be toggled to show only the differences between the exchange
and main part.
The part record can be displayed by double clicking the desired row within the report.
