The Customer Order screen will open and this gives the option to create a Customer Order.

Alternatively if the part in question has been located within the parts department the quantity found can be updated.

The quantity found cannot be updated if the quantity picked has been verified within the Pick Control process.

If the customer does not want the part ordered or the quantity found cannot be updated then a
lost sale will be recorded.

If a Customer Order is created the pick note will still have to be verified in Pick Control.

If a Lost Sale is recorded for an Internal Transfer the items are removed from the enquiry, an
Order Exception will be created at the requesting site and the pick note will still have to be
verified in Pick Control.

If a lost sale is recorded for an external order the pick note will still have to be verified in Pick
Control.

When a part is placed on customer order the enquiry will be available in Allocate Orders.
(Please refer to Distribution Allocate Orders). The pick note will still have to be verified in Pick Control.

When the enquiry has been updated, a tick will be placed in the Handled field.

To carry out a stock adjustment on a part, highlight a Handled enquiry and select the β€˜Stk Adj’
button to open the Stock Adjustment window.
