How do I View GDPR Consent Categories Within Selections?

Within CRM > Selections > Search when clicking into the Choose Fields to Search box, the below is
now available under the Data Protection area:
Previously in the customer information drop down, the Allow Email, Mail and SMS categories have now been moved to the data protection drop down, alongside the addition of the option to view Allow Phone. The Allow Email, Mail, Phone and SMS options relate to the allowable contact methods section along the top of the contact preferences form, as shown below.
For example, to find customerβs that have selected to not be emailed at all users can select βAllow Emailβ
and then choose Equal To: No.
The Category Option allows users to filter the selection by the Consent Categories that have been
enabled in CRM > Parameters > Communications > Data Protection Parameters.
The Category Allow Email, Mail, Phone and SMS options will then be used to report on how a customer
has responded to the category you have specified for each allowable contact methods.
Please Note-
The download pop up will no longer have the functionality to select the Consent Category and Contact Method. This will need to be specified in the selection criteria itself.
If previously selections have been downloaded only using a contact method of allow Email, allow SMS
or allow Mail then no changes will need to be made to existing saved selections.
If previously sections have been downloaded using a consent category and consent method, then
these saved selections will now need to be updated to include these consent categories and consent
contact methods as part of the search criteria within the chosen fields to search area of selections. If the
search criteria was not saved then the selection will need to be recreated.
